Legend Of Zelda: Fall Of Hyrule

Before time began, before spirits and life existed...
Three golden goddesses descended upon the chaos that was Hyrule...

Din, the goddess of power...
Nayru, the goddess of wisdom...
Farore, the goddess of courage...

Din...
With her strong flaming arms, she cultivated the land and created the red
earth.

Nayru...
Poured her wisdom onto the earth and gave the spirit of law to the world.

Farore...
With her rich soul, produced all life forms who would uphold the law.

The three great goddesses, their labors completed, departed for the heavens.
And golden sacred triangles remained at the point where the goddesses left the
world.

Since then, the sacred triangles have become the basis of our world's
providence.
And, the resting place of the triangles has become the Sacred Realm.

All seemed peaceful in Hyrule Town Market, people roaming the streets browsing the various stands and shops set up in town. Hylians, Zoras, and Gorons all roamed the streets looking for various goods. Looming over the city was Hyrule Castle, home to the king and his daughter; Princess Zelda. Throughout the town rumors are spread about a Gerudo man named Ganondorf, many people think he's not to be trusted while others are thick and think he is a good person.

"Fish! Fresh fish here! Fresh right from Lake Hylia! Come on folks get your fresh fish here!" A male voice can be heard in a part of town, it's coming from a male Zora at a booth lined with fresh looking fish. He grins and points at his fish with a zora made spear. "Yall like what ya see? They're cheap! Ranging from 20-40 Rupees!" He cheers. In the castle more guards are on patrol then normal after a recent break in, rumors say that a child no less, broke in and snook into the castle garden.

Ava watch the market place from under a stair case. As she looks about the shouts of the Zora male catches her attention and she looks at the fish he is selling. As she gets up she pulls the hood of her cloak up to hid her face and blends in with the crowd. As she gets closer she cast Shadow edge under her breath and targets the shadow under the zora males stand causing the shadow to cut one of the legs toppling the stand suddenly. As the people in front of the area scatter and trip over each other as the stand and fish go sliding Ava looks like she trips in an attempt to get out of the way. As people start to get back to their feet she dose as well and slips one of the fish under her cloak and out of sight. She then makes her way away from chaos around the fallen stand with her prize.

Flit Watches from his high perch and shivers as he pulls his cloak about him self, looking for a place to step down on to from the roof of the castle. He slowly shimmy him self to a window and peers in as his purple-blue eyes dart about before he wiggles through the narrow window and into the small room. He dusts him self offhandedly as he grimaces at hearing the faint jingling of anger from Teal. "Flitjof! You shouldn't be in here. Its not safe." The small Kokiri waves off his berating fairy as his eyes sparkle with excitement at finally making it into the castle.
"Hey lay off me granny. Im just having a little fun."
"Fun? Fun?! your breaking into one of the worse places ever if your to get caught!" Flit chokes back a laugh since wasn't that the point of breaking into the Hyrule Castle, the Adrenalin high of possibly getting caught. Flit smiles broadly at the fairy who makes a anguished noise of 'i can't believe you' before darting into his hood and staying quiet as she fumes silently. He peeks through the key hole before slowly opening it as he trys to figure out where every thing is and where he can get some good food.

Up in the caste itself, everyone went about their business. Guards were patrolling the halls, and in the castle barracks, one particular guard, a Hylian with short black hair was eating his lunch, his helmet laying next to him on the table. As soon as he finished, his superior came up. "So this is where you've been, Irvine!" Irvine turned to look at him. "What? What's going on, Captain?" The Captain simply shook his head. "Geez, nobody's told you yet? Ganondorf's coming to visit the King, and we're increasing the security detail in the throne room. We need you there now!" Irvine simply nodded at him. "Sure, Captain."

With that, Irvine put his helmet on and grabbed his sword, buckler, and a spear that was standard-issue for all Castle Guards, then made his way to the throne room. It was alive with activity, with everyone scrambling to their proper places. Irvine took his spot between two other guards, and as they awaited the Gerudo King's arrival, Irvine thought back on previous events. "Man... The Princess has kinda been on edge lately. Could it have had something to do with that kid in green I saw in town? Mistress Impa was escorting him out of the castle a few days ago... Could he have been the one that broke into the castle?" Irvine quickly dismissed that line of thought and stood at attention.

"Ack! Oi! No one think about running off with any of the fish!" Rayas, the Zora, shouted as he quickly found and grabbed a empty bucket to support the leg Ava took out then quickly gathered up all his fish and set his stand back up. "Stupid leg...hate when that happens. Anyway, lets see...." He starts counting his fish sighs when he finishes. "Not surprising that I would be missing one. Sheesh, can things get any worse?"

There is a sudden silence that falls over the marketplace as a black and armored horse trotted into the market with the Gerudo king, Ganondorf, who simply ignores the crowd and makes his way up towards the castle with an escort of hooded figures. "....Well I guess things CAN get worse...nice job tempting fate Ray. Sheesh.."

As Ava made her way away with her lunch she stops and fezzes as King Ganondorf and his escort trot ride past. She pulls her hood lower so they don't see her. She watches as they ride off towards the castle.
"This is not good. Why would King Ganondorf be here. And with so many guards." she wounder as she makes her way to Misty her black and silver horse. She guts and cleans the fish quickly and cooks it up fast then wraps up most of it after breaking off a piece to it. She rides back in and looks of towards the castle.
"Its time to go Misty. I think we have had all the fun we are going to have here." Ava says as she pats the neck of her horse.

Ben gave as much acknowledgement as respectful to the passing king: It was not every day nobility graced the streets of a town in so brazenly. Hopefully, this was the heraldry of some change. Maybe one day soon he'd be able to lead a convey into Gerudo territory for trade. Regardless, once the nobility and his convoy passed Ben returned to work with his minor shop and goods. Several security figures loomed around the shop both inside and out, watching for thieves and making due with the safer parts of their work.

Flit continues stalking the corridors hiding behind armor and avoiding all guards he can while making a mad dash for windows when they spotted him. He wiggles through a window and squeaks as he feels a heavy armor hand trying to grab his leg before he makes it all the way through and nearly falls before he catches the ledge and quickly shimmies him self along the wall as he hears the guard shouting a warning to others about him and he laughs as his heart beats quickly as adrenalin courses through him. He ignores the angery chime in his ear from teal before a chill goes through him killing his adrenalin high. Teal goes very quiet and Flit clings to the wall as he closes his eyes hoping the chill would pass. But as it doesn't Flit starts to look for away down to get away from the castle hoping to find some where safe. He looks down and shudders before looking for any vines he could possibly force to grow. He closes his eyes and focuses on the plants near the wall to entangle the wall. He gasps as he feels his strength draining and looks down again and shivers as he sees only very little grew. He huffs in exhaustion from the risky move before looking for near by windows and clambers into an empty one and lays there panting for a minute or so before getting up and readies him self to flee from the chilling feeling that is getting deeper in his body. He grits his teeth as it feels like something slimy is curling up inside his stomach and squirming about making him feel ill.
"I.... don't feel good Teal." Teal remains quiet as she sinks deeper into his hood. He looks about as he tries to remember how he got up to the high windows and where his escape was. "And i don't remember how to get out..."

In the castle, Ganondorf made his way towards the throne room where the Hyrulian King awaited him, at his sides were two shrot figures in robes, one of the pausing for a moment and looking around. "Hey Koume, where is our little puppet supposed to be?" The other short figure stopped and shushed the other. "Quiet Kotake! We're here on business! No time for idle chit-chat about that! Now get moving old hag!" Kotake glared over at her sister. "Old hag?! I'm only 373 years old!! YOU are the old hag!" Ganondorf simply ignores the bickering and moves on ahead to the throne room, Flit can hear the twin witchs bickering with each other. "How is that possible?!?! We're twins!! We're 393! Your memory is going!!" They remain in the hall shout and bickering with each getting odd looks from the guards.

Down in the marketplace, several robed figures started standing in various places throughout the area, guards saw this and started to investigate as to why these people were gathering all of a sudden, Rayas saw this as well and held his spear tightly. "Why do I get this feeling like something bad is about to happen?" One of the robed figures take a spot in front of Ben's shop and just stare inside from the shadow of their hood.

As Ava tries to leave, 3 of the figures stand in her path and stare silently at her as if waiting for her to make a move, or someone to make one.

In the throne room, Irvine can see, if he looks, Princess Zelda and Impa watching the throne room from a window in the garden, Zelda's expression showing fear as Ganondorf enters the room and approaches the king and demands the Royal Family's treasure, the king of course refuses to hand it over. (prepare for action soon)

Ava brought Misty around and looked at each of the hooded figures before turning Misty around and headed toward another possible exit only to be blocked again. She rides back into the square ignoring the yells and curses from the people as she rode through the crowd. She passes by Ray and pushes the tip of his spear out of her horses path as she desperately tries to find another exit but no matter were she looks to escape through more of the hooded figure appear.
"Damn it all! Its like they know what I;m thinking........ Or know what I can do. Is he looking for me? He can't be looking for me? Please don't let him be looking for me." she says as she looks for another exit and almost cause Misty to step on Rays foot with one of her hooves. As the Ava pulls her horse in a tight circle as she looks in every direction only to see each exit blocked she almost cause Misty to step on Rays foot several times. Well this is all happening Ray also smells fresh cooked fish coming from one of the bags on the saddle.

Flit feeling a chill run down his spine and chill his bones at the site of the gerudos pass him by with only a wall in between them and him. He holds his breath as he darts out wanting to get away from them as quick as he can. Heading the way they came from wanting distance as he feels deep seated terror flare in his stomach. He quickly runs back into the market place to see the place having guards and the robed figures. He shivers as she watches the robbed figures before dashing past them to hide in a small guard house where there are tones of pots and rocks back and forth in a corner. Teal remains in his hood and stays silent.

Well, that was a disheartening sign if he ever saw one. Several of the robed figures from Ganondorf's procession were just idling outside. He'd seen that stance before, and never was heralding something good. His older guards were smart enough to pick it up too, and silently spread the word while making sure to keep the Gerudo's in sight.

Irvine gripped his spear tightly, his expression souring as the situation began to go south, the King beginning to argue with Ganondorf. "What are you planning, Ganondorf? You're surrounded by guards. You'll never make it out of this room if you do what I think you're going to do." Meanwhile, in town, the robed figures revealed themselves, tossing the robes aside, revealing themselves to be Stalfos as they shrieked their unearthly battle cries. Up in the castle, when the King refused to give him what he wanted, Ganondorf unsheathed his sword and ran it through the King's chest. "Burn this castle to ground if you have to! But bring me the Ocarina of Time!" With that, the Gerudo King's escorts to tossed their robes aside, revealing themselves to be more Stalfos. Through Irvine's eyes, time seemed to stop as Ganondorf murdered the King, then everything began to move in slow motion as the scene erupted into chaos, the Stalfos and guards engaging in combat as Irvine unsheathed his sword. "Your Majesty!"

Rayas shouted in surprise as Ava's horse nearly stepped on him several times causing him to glare at her. "Hey! Watch it! You've almost stepped on me with that thing! And....wait..." He sniffs the air and growls pointing his spear up at her. "You steal one of my fish???" He asks in a shout only to turn his attention to the Stalfos now attacking the guards. "Oh fun! First thieves, shady looking Gerudo, now this!" He turns and charges towards one of the Stalfos and tackles it against a wall as a guard knocks it's head off. "Thank you Zora!" "Name's Ray buddy, and why are these things here??" The guard shakes his head unsure and goes to help the others.


Three Stalfos surround Ava and point their swords at her. "You are coming with us, King Ganondorf will have need of your powers." The Stalfos do not appear to intend on leaving without her.

In castle, the halls are filled with guards and stalfos fighting with each other, a pair of Stalfos ambush Irvine in the chaos and swing at him with their swords, only to be disposed of by Impa, Zelda's Attendant/guardian. "Are you alright Irvine? Nevermind, I need you to help me escort the Princess to her horse, I must get out of here with her, now!" She commanded and motions down the hall with her blade. "The Princess is safe in her room."

After disposing of the King, Ganondorf quickly made his way to the castle's royal vault to search to the Royal Family's treasure, the Ocarina of Time, only failing to find it and let out a enraged yell that fills the castle's halls. Impa gets a angry yet accomplished look on her face. "Good...he didn't get a hold of it...yet. Come!" She darts down the hall quickly and disposes of any enemies in her and Irvine's way.

Misty rears up a few times in fear almost throwing Ava from the saddle before she yanks down hard enough to keep all four hooves on the horse on the ground. She looks from Stalfos to Stalfos.
"I have nothing King Ganondorf wants! He has all he wishes, the finest warriors and the twin witch have more then enough skill in magic to fight rival magic user who are not worth of his time." she says as Misty pulls tight circles as the three Stalfos close in more. She kicks Misty in the ribs and she jumps over the head of one of the Stalfos but as Misty jumps it swings its sword and cuts the strap causing Ava to crash to the floor. AS she untangles herself the three Stalfos move in again and Ava pulls out her scimitars and takes a defensive stance.
"What powers? I am no means the best warrior, why dose he want me?"
As they circle and try to get under her guard to disarm her she and the three Stalfos exchange thrust and parry's. As the fight goes she is aware of her surrounding enough to leap and doge around obstacles the advantage she has is they want her alive and can't use lethal force but she has no such limitation, but then they had the advantage of numbers on their side. Though for ever one she felled another just took their place. Until she suddenly is forced back by one of the Stalfos as one blade came in and slashed at her cutting her face mask and causing a small cut on her cheek. As she jumped backwards to avoid another swing she slams into some one and as she parry's a blade as she turns swinging her other blade but its blocked. As she looks she sees its the Zora male who was selling fish.
For the brief moment she is distracted the Stalfos jump at her, one grabbing each arm as they try to get her to drop her weapons.
"GET OFF OF ME! You have the WRONG girl!" she yells as they try to drag her off. She aims wildly and cast Ice Dagger hoping to hit one of the Stalfos holding her arm but it points her hand away and it takes out a Stalfos that was about to stab Ray through his back.
"Great, I save the Zora instead of me." she grunts under her breath a bone arm slips around her neck as a third Stalfos try to choke her into submission.

Irvine and Impa quickly reached Princess Zelda's room. "Princess!"The Princess quickly came over, clinging to Impa. "Impa!" "It's alright, Princess. But we have to get out of here," she told her. "Irvine." "Yes, Mistress Impa," he responded, grabbing Princess Zelda's wrist. "W-Where's my father?"she asked as the left her room. Irvine fell silent at her question. ".......I'm sorry. He didn't make it." "Princess, we have to go!" Impa shouted as several more Stalfos spotted them. "There's the Princess! Don't let her get away!" Impa dashed forward and quickly disposed of them.

With the Princess in tow, they quickly made for the stables. Irvine helped her up onto a white horse, and Impa saddled up behind her. "I'm sorry about your father, Princess. Mistress Impa, where are you going to go from here?" "...I don't know. Someplace as far away from here as possible. You need to get down to the town and tell people to start evacuating," she said, as Irvine opened the gate for them. "Yes, Mistress. And stay safe, Princess." The Princess nodded meekly at him before they galloped out of the stables. Irvine was about to get on another horse, when he heard heavy footsteps somewhere behind him.

He felt his blood run cold as he slowly turned around, and saw the Gerudo King walking right at him. "You saw the Princess leave, didn't you? Did she say where she was going?" Irvine was positively shaking with fear, but steeled himself, drawing his sword and assuming an offensive stance. "No, she didn't. And even if she did, what makes you think I'd tell you, murderer?" "Heh. Then you're just wasting my time," Ganondorf remarked, blasting Irvine with a magic spell and knocking him back against a wall. Irvine fell to the ground in a heap, and weakly reached his hand out in a pointless attempt to stop Ganondorf from getting away. "D-Dammit..." was all he could muster before he blacked out.

Rayas quickly turns around when he hears the Stalfos fall to the ground then looks over at Ava. "Hey guards, mind helping me help her?" They nod and follow Rayas who throws his spear at one of the Stalfos surrounding Ava. "3 against 1? Not very fair bone heads. Heh." He pops his knuckles and smirks as the air right around his body begins to spark a bit. "Try this on for size!" He charges at one of the Stalfos colliding with it as the guards start fighting with the one skewered with Rayas' spear. "Hey Gerudo Girl, think you can handle at least one?" Rayas asks as he kicks his Stalfos away to reach over to the other one and grab his spear back and parries his Stalfos' sword swing with it.

In the guard house, Flit can hear alot of commotion and the sound of the guards leaving in a hurry, giving Flit the chance to leave the guard house if he pleased.

In the castle stables, a lone Stalfos enters and looks around, a boney smirk growing on his face upon seeing the passed out Irvine, it slowly walks over to him and lifts it's sword to stab down into his back. As it goes to drop it's sword one of the horse neigh and kicks the Stalfos with it's hind legs and grunts shaking it's head. It trots over to Irvine and lowers it's head nudging him and licking at his face.

Ava staggered to her feet and struggled to breather with her neck as bruised as it had become over the short time the Stalfos used its bone arm to choke her. She shakes her head as she retrieves her fallen blades, "This is not my fight." she says. She runs over the way she saw her horse run and deals with any Stalfos in her way. As she gets to her horse she sheathes her blades and leaps onto her horse and rides her out holding on for dear life since she dose not have a saddle any more.
"If we get out into the open areas we can lose them Misty." shes says to her horse.

Irvine slowly came to, and pushed the horse's face away. "Okay, okay. I'm up." Irvine slowly, but shakily, got to his feet, and saddled up on the horse, galloping out of the castle and towards the town. As he reached the main road leading through the town out into Hyrule Field, he saw that fighting had erupted everywhere, the Castle Guard fighting valiantly against Ganondorf's forces. After a quick search, he found several other guards. "Hey, you guys!" "Lieutenant Irvine? Hell, I didn't think you were still alive!" one soldier exclaimed. "Listen, we need to start evacuating as many people as we can! Mistress Impa's orders," Irvine told them. "Tell everyone you can find to fall back to the town square and make preparations!" "Okay," one of the guardians responded. "There is one other thing," Irvine added. "Yeah?" "My parents. Make sure they're safe." "Of course." With that, they all split up, Irvine making his way through the town to assist other guards with the fighting and rescuing of civilians. After a while, he came upon Rayas fighting his own battle. He noticed a Stalfos about to sneak up and stab him from behind, and Irvine quickly ran forward, running his hand over his sword. As he did that, glowing red runes appeared on it, and when he slashed at the Stalfos, it lit up like a funeral pyre before falling over. "Need some help? he asked Rayas as he backed up against him.

Flit balls up his hands as he rocks back and forth in terror as he peers out of the shaft like window to see what is going on as he shivers from the slimy feeling rising in him before he bends over to vomit. he straightens up feeling a bit better despite his terror. He swallows, tasting the vile aftertaste. He wipes his mouth clean before opening the door not wanting to head out of the market seeing that is where his most lively times have been and bolts to the temple of time seeing that as the safest place if he can get into that sealed up room or even the bushes. He uses the stalls as cover and takes the allyes to get over to the temple avoiding all fighting when he cans. He springs over the fence and lands in the bushes before making his way to the back of the widow as he scales the wall to look into where he sees a sword in the ground which he always thought was strange. he looks down at the great height and balls up in the window shiver as he lets the place calm him down. Teal Slowly comes out and sits on his head as she watches the sword with interest.

Rayas blinked and shook his head. "Nah, I think your buddies got them under control. You guys getting people out of here? What in the world happened up in the castle that is making this evacuation called for by the way? It's not like the king is dead or anything. Heh." He said in joking tone before he looked at Irvine and immediately looked shocked. "Oh....well damn...Let's get out of here!" Rayas quickly dashed to his stand and gathered up his things before making his way towards the city gates. "Wait, where are all of these people going to go?"

A guard barges into Ben's shop. "Excuse me sir, the king has been murdered! We are evacuating the people to the nearby village of Kakariko, please gather up the things you need, and ONLY the things you really need. Please hurry! Before more of those monsters show up!"

Rayas found several more fish to be missing if he should bother to check. During all of the chaos Daru had stolen them and was now eating them at his leisure within the safety of the alleyway's shadows. He was quite amused by all the goings on within the last few minutes, chuckling as his fangs sank into the raw fish in his hand and tore off a bite to be chewed scales and all.

This wasn't really surprising as the battle was like a game to him. All he had to do was stick to the shadows and if her were spotted he simply sank into the shadow and arose within another or turned invisible. As more and more skeletons showed up, however, he found it easier to escape to the roof tops where they were unlikely to follow and his small, agile form would give him the advantage if they did.

Ava and Misty finely made it out into the open fields. There had been a few people who people who had tried to pulls Ava from Misty's back to take the horse and ride away to safety but a boot to their face saw them disappear beneath the panicking horde of people as they pushed and shoved to get away. Ava lead Misty to a high bluff so she could over see the evacuation.
"So many displace people. This never would of happened back home. If some one had tired this my sisters and cousins would of taken up their weapons and as one we would have driven of such an attack." she say as she slides from Misty's back and walks along the bluff edge watch as Misty follows her. As the horse begins to graze Ava decided eating would be a good thing. From her pack and cures the loss of her saddle and the saddle bags with her bed roll but those can always be replaced. AS the two sit and eat Ava looks back towards the castle. "I do not think I did right in defying King Ganondorf. I think I have made a very poor choices indeed. I the King send for me again I believe it would be smarter to go to him. That is if he send for me again. The next time he just might send his warriors to kill me." she thinks as she sits and eat the fish well Misty eats some of the grass.
Any one who looks up and a little to the left would see the two sitting and watching. Though at the distance not much detail can be made out so what they see is someone in a dark cloak and their horse.

"We're going to Kakariko. Right now, that's probably one of the safest places to be until we figure why the hell Ganondorf did this," Irvine said to Rayas, as they made for the town square. "Alright, let's move it people," Irvine could hear a captain saying. "We are leavi- Oh, bloody... INCOMING!" Irvine turned his head and saw several Lizalfos jumping across rooftops towards them. "Go! Get out of here!" Irvine shouted at Rayas before joining the other guards and charging at the Lizalfos as they touched the ground. "HOLD THE LINE!"

Rayas goes to run with the other people escaping the chaos but stops when he see Irvine and the other guards start to fight the lizalfos, he looks back to the town gate then back over at guards and back again before sighing. "Damn me and not being able to run from a challenge..." He throws his spear so it lands in front of Irvine. "Hey guard guy! Hold still!" He shouts as he runs at Irvine's back and jumps up onto and off of his shoulders, his wrist fins glow for a moment before he 'throws' them at two of the lizalflos getting them a bit off guard as they were expecting the guards to strike instead of a random zora, the fins slash them over their chests making them growl and lunge at Rayas who gets on the defensive and jumps out of the way. "Lil help here!!"

Daru runs into no real issues except fighting getting in his path, plenty of shadows from the escaping crowd for him to escape from the city with.

If Ava bothers to look up into the sky towards the castle, she could see two figures flying towards her quickly. "Ah there she is Kotake! The little girl tried to get away!" Koume shouted to her sister. "Tsk tsk tsk. We can't have that now can we?" They both nod in agreement as the cackle in sync and fly over her in a circle. "Well well it's Ava isn't it? How have you been!" Koume calls down to her.
