Daru, in an effort to avoid the rooftop prowling lizalfos, jumped to the edge of his roof and hung from the gutter a moment before dropping and landing on a stalfos. With a snicker he hopped off his bony cushion as it scrambled to get back on its feet, the stalfos arising in time to see a disembodied smile, its teeth shifting into fangs. It had little time to look on in perplexment before a guard took advantage of the distraction and struck it down, prompting the wicked smile to cackle before disappearing completely.

After a while Daru made his way to the drawbridge, taking his time to gawk at the various fights and casualties after collecting the mask which had fallen off during the drop. Putting his disguise back on, he became visible once more and followed the crowd of people as they fled from the chaos of the city.

Ava spring to her feet as the twin witches, Kotake and Koume, circle above her like hunting cats that have cornered there prey. She pulls her arms in the folds of the cloak she is wearing and rest her hands on the hilt of her swords before freezing.
What am I doing? Dare I defy King Ganondorf servants? What they do they do on his orders........... It can not hurt to hear this out. Besides, were else do I have to go now that King Ganondorf rules here.
"Great sister witches! I am honored that you know of me. To what do I owe this great visit." she says and bows as she takes a step back towards the edge of the ridge, so she can see them both. Misty snorts and stomps the ground in unease as she nudges her master.
As Ava bows in respect she sees the long train of refuges fleeing to Kakariko and makes note of it in her mind as one possible escape if things go bad. She then stands up straight as she faces the witch sisters.

Irvine let out a fierce scream as he joined Rayas parrying a Lizalfos' attack before swiping its legs out from under it and stabbing it in its foul heart. However, Irvine failed to notice a Lizalfos coming at him from his right until a shriek of primal bloodlust issued forth from its mouth, and it knocked Irvine's sword out of his hand. Irvine blocked as many of the creature's frenzied attacks as he could with his shield, but was eventually knocked on his back.

As the Lizalfos stood poised to kill him, Irvine scooped up a good bit of dirt in his hand and flung it in the Lizalfos' face. Rolling to the side as it stabbed blindly into the ground, Irvine took advantage of the situation to get back on his feet and bash it in the head with his shield. This caused the Lizalfos to drop his sword, and Irvine promptly picked it up and sliced into the its neck, felling it. Irvine decided to use the brief lull in the action to quickly catch his breath, then shouted at Rayas, "Come on, we can't stay here any longer! We have to leave now!"

Before Irvine could finish yelling at Rayas, he had already grabbed his spear and quickly dashed past Irvine. "One step ahead of you guard man! I'm outta here! I'm heading to the Zora Domain to inform the Princess!" He shouted back as he ran with the last of the civilians leaving town. A guard then shouted at Irvine telling him that they saved all that they could before retreating with the other guards.

Outside, Rayas jumped off the draw bridge and into the small river under it and began to follow it back to it's source, The Zora River, where he would go back to the Domain. "What a fun day this turned out to be, I get robbed of fish then the king of the hylians gets killed. This obviously cannot bode well for the other races...we are going to have to be ready if we get attacked too.."

Kotake floats beside Ava and looks at her curiously. "How can we NOT have known about you? Not many of our people can use magic ya know?" She said before bonking Ava on the head then flying just out of reach. Koume laughed and began to fly in small circles. "Anyway! We came to get you because ohhh....we just need your extra kick of magic to aid us in taking over the entire kingdom." Kotake then twitched and flew up to Koume to bop her too. "Just go around telling everyone our plans why don't you!!" "Hey! I didn't say EVERYTHING! And that should've been obvious when Ganondorf took care of the king you old hag!"

Ava's hands tighter on the hilts of her blades as she gets bonked on the head. So, King Ganondorf has his eye set on taking over the entire kingdom. But that is the way of our people. The strong survive and take what they can.
"Why do you need me? King Ganondorf has more then enough power as do you two sister........... Why would people of such power need aid? Unless there is something King Ganondorf is not strong enough to take what he want?" she says leaving the question of Ganondorf power hanging in the air. For no one could lead a gerudo unless they were strong enough to.

Meanwhile Daru was following the evacuation and bored. At first it seemed like a rushing stampede of people panicking and frenzied, but then it turned out to be more like a caravan hurrying to its next destination. This was interesting too, but only for a short while. The chaos of the city was much more entertaining with all the fighting and destruction, whereas here there wasn't even trampling.

Fortunately for him, Daru spotted the witches flying in circles and broke off from the group to get closer. As he walked towards them he could make out a figure and what appeared to be a horse that the two were orbiting. This proved a particularly interesting prospect and prompted him walk faster towards them.

The witch twins look at each other then down at Ava. "Ah well yes but every little bit helps deary! Hehehehe..." Kotake laughed alittle bit as Koume flew down by Ava once more. "Nothing is a threat to him! Hehehe....it just an old legend anyway. 'Blade of Evil's Bane'? Bah! Stupid hylian folklore!" She shouted causing Kotake to swoop down and smack her hard. "Shut up idiot!!"

Back in the castle town, any straggling civilians and/or guards could see Impa and Princess Zelda riding out of town on a white horse at great speed, with a armored black horse carrying Ganondorf a little ways behind them. Anyone near the outside draw bridge could see a small kid in a green tunic run towards the bridge and Impa and Zelda quickly passing, Zelda looking back before she appears to toss something back at the boy, before riding into the distance. Minutes later Ganondorf comes out of the town and looks around in anger before looking at the boy, who draws his sword making the Bandit king smirk and knock him back with a bolt of magic before riding off as well.

PostSubject: Re: Legend Of Zelda: Fall Of Hyrule   Legend Of Zelda: Fall Of Hyrule - Page 2 Icon_minitimeWed Dec 23, 2009 11:39 am

Flit slowly climbs down from his perch and shimmies down the white wall of the temple now that he feels better with thinking no monsters of the dark forces seem to come here as he keeps his hands firmly about the vines. He keeps still for a bit before realizing the sounds of fighting have mostly died down. He laughs nerviously at this wondering if the guards won or the monsters. As he works his way through the bushes he sees another Kokiri run by with a blue fairy out to his surprise as he works at getting out of the entangling bushes before coxing them away from him as he looks into the temple in curiosity. He hears a rather beautiful tune echoing from the boy and the ocarina he is playing to see three stones lifting from him to settle on the alter hovering oddly as he finishes. As the last note fades there is a bright flash of light forcing Flit to cover his eyes till he can see again in the normal light seeing the doors have been opened. At this the Kokiri runs deeper into the temple where Flit's eye sight fails to see what he is doing as he edges a little closer before stopping as blue light rises up and the boy is suddenly gone. He jumps back and darts in to see he was in that room that carried the sword he was looking at which is now gone just like the boy. He hangs back in the door way of the great stone doors before darting away as he tries to figure out if this is good or not. But what ever it is he knows that all he has gut feeling wise is that ge should get out of town now.

Flick runs away from the temple as He slips deep into thought about this not realizing he is heading into danger that he does not want to get tangled up in as he huffs slightly only to run smack into Ava, out side the town. He pales as he sees a Gerudo woman and spins about to see the twins where he spreads his hands out and roots force their way out of the soft ground to try to grab the broom sticks falling short as the roots only coils out at most a foot before flit looks exhausted and he cringes at the cackling laughter from the twins as he pants heavily drawing his 'sword' and trying to get away in fear.
They both have their attention on him or the moment as he brandishes his sword and raises his wooden shield in a pitiable form of protecting him self as one cuts him off. "No stay away!" A small orb of purple darts out of his vest to circle around one of the twin's for head as he squeaks out, " Teal no!" He springs forward with no actual courage behind his attack as he thrusts the dagger sword forward only to stop midway throug it far away from his target as darkness incircles his arm.

Flit jerks about as he tries to pull free from the enchantment with no avail as his fairy seems to be whispering something in in their ears. Darting between the two twins as they both keep trying to from the looks of it take control of the fairy. All he truly ends up doing is making gouge marks into the ground as it gives away to his frantic pulling and pushing.

Ava's eyes narrow. He has fear! We are a race of warriors! There can be no room for fear in our harts, and none at all in the heart of the man who is our king.
She shifts her eyes as she hears the sound of running feet and sees what looks like a small child. She had looked back at the twins dismissing the child since he was not a threat and focused back on the twins and what she had just learned. She suddenly looks back down as the boy collides with her leg and the blade under her cloak and looks down at him with a very annoyed look on her face and with the sun starting to set the gem in her forehead catches the light sending purple glints of light on the ground.
She watches as the witches show more interest in the weak boy then any Gerudo should.
A look of disgust crosses her face as she thinks of one of the few reasons a Gerudo female shows interested in males and she pushes that thought out of her mind. He was a boy and they were so old. She shivers one last time as she pushes that thought out of her minded.
"He has fear. Weather it is of a legend or a real thing he has fear! And no one with fear or doubt can lead the Gerudo. We are a race of fighters and fear is weakness. If he wants my aid I demand he prove that he is with out fear and is strong enough to lead us. What a disappointment. He proves his strength in toppling the king of Hyrule then I find out he needs my magical powers because he fear some legend. I want prof he has no fear! Once I believe he doesn't I will pledge my sword and life to him." Ava says as she watches the twins as they play with their new toy and the odd little light that is zipping around the twins.

PostSubject: Re: Legend Of Zelda: Fall Of Hyrule   Legend Of Zelda: Fall Of Hyrule - Page 2 Icon_minitimeSun Dec 27, 2009 1:10 am

Daru had seen Flit run by and followed him, running after him. Something about the boy seemed eerily familiar, like a long forgotten memories of a life whose faint remnants still addled the skull kid's being and he had to find out why. Daru arrived at the foot of the hill to hear the egotistical Gerudo prattle on about how a king could only lead without fear and THAT is when he saw it.

The light that was bouncing betwixt the two witches. It was the unearthly beautiful glow of a fairy, a light Daru had long forgotten and even longer still given up on seeing ever again. This was a sight which brought him to his knees and more miraculous still he began shedding tears. Yet these two hags seemed to be corrupting her while her Kokiri was forced to watch -- while quite possibly trying to do the same to him! This. Would. Not. Do.

A fierce rage grew within the skull child, one so fierce it seemed to boil the tears which refused to stop streaming from his void of a face. Tearing off his disguise he readied his didgeridoo and prepped powder shots that had both a hallucinogen and an itching powder that also blinded the target if it got into the eyes, which it would given the shots explode into clouds on impact. He fired several shots at the old crones, aiming for their faces to maximize the intoxicating and blinding effects. Immediately afterward he prepared his blowgun, the witches too high for him to reach so he'd have to attempt a much less satisfying ranged attack with poisoned darts. He disappeared from sight as he loaded the gun, the only thing still visible were the gleaming fangs of his crooked and warped smile.

Ava had ignored the boy until the sisters had shown interest in the first one. She had turned to look at the second source of running feet as she sees the second boy shoots several pellets into the air. Misty stomps her hove in fear.
Ava pulls her hood low not sure of the pellets as the first few brake open and a powder is released. She shy's away covering her eyes and mouth. She pulls out her twin blades and raises her hand at the attacker only to see that the second small boy has vanished from sight. She snarls under her mask as she cast a Ice Daggers in a wide spread hoping to hit the attacker if he is still present. As she finishes cast the first spell she cast frost path making it impossible for any one with out air magic or some foot wear that would give them tranche up the now iced slop. Ava staggers away from the cloud of powder as she tries to figure out who is attacking her.

As Irvine helped lead the caravan towards the relative safety of Kakariko, his thoughts returned to the Zora he had fought alongside back in the Castle Town. "I hope he makes it back to Zora's Domain okay," Irvine said quietly before looking off to his left and noticing some kind of commotion on a hill. "What the hell-" Irvine was interrupted as ear-splitting shrieks filled the air. "INCOMING! PROTECT THE CIVILIANS!" Irvine heard a Captain shout before several Lizalfos ran over a hill, coming straight at them. Irvine readied his blade and galloped his horse towards them, slicing at as many as he could reach as several more guards and soldiers joined him.

The same Captain he heard shout before ran up as Irvine stabbed a Lizalfos through the head. "We need to let Lord Darunia know what's happened! Irvine, ride ahead and get to Goron City! We can handle things here!" "But-!" Irvine began, but the look on the Captain's face said he wouldn't take no for an answer. "Yes, Sir." "We'll cover your exit. And hey. Try not to get killed." "Yeah, same to you," Irvine remarked before galloping full speed towards his next destination: Death Mountain.

Kotake and Koume shout in shock and surprise as Daru takes shots at them. "Gah!!! Who dares to attack the great Koume and her hag of a sister Kotake??" Koume shouts and cough looking around blinking a bit then covering her eyes. "Gah! I can't see a thing!! Eyes burn!" Kotake sways on her broom and collides with her sister causing both to hit the ground. "Gah! Ava! Deal with this fool who attacks us then we'll consider telling you what you wish to know! And you!" She points at Flit. "Off with you! Shoo!" She commands and huffs as she looks around. "Oooo pretty colors...."

On his way up the mountain, Irvine passes up Gorons whom appear to be cheering and happily munching on rock. Near the entrance to Goron City, a pair of young gorons are rolling around having a race. A goron lounging about by the entrance looks up at Irvine and waves. "Hello friend! You here to big brother Darunia? He's inside his room now, our new friend who opened up the cavern below got him to open his door again!" The goron happily exclaimed seemingly oblivious to the fact Irvine looks serious.

Flit feels his hand released as he stumbles back before he yells at the, " Your Master's end is near you old Hags! The sword has been taken, The hero has risen." At this FLit runs as fast as his small legs sliping and sliding as he trys in futile desperation not to fall as he runs as fast as he can. One of the twins thinking nothing of what he said looks over.
"Nyeeee? Foolish kid." She flicks her hand in his direction catching him in the back with some dark energy.

Flit whimpers in pain as he slowly sits up and laughs weakly as he has vague hopes of being free from his curse of what he is living off of, " The temple of light is open you Old bats. " He spins about and raises his shield for the next attack as he barks out in defiance, "The Master sword has found it's hero! Fear for your lives you ding bats." Flit brings up a shimmering green shield that is laced with thin streaks of black that are barely noticeable as he is thrown back from two blasts and lays in a heap groaning in pain As he tries to get to his feet again to run but saying greatly from the two attacks.

"Thank you," was all Irvine said to the Goron, since he didn't really have that much time for pleasantries. Dismounting his horse, Irvine entered the Goron City, and made his way to where Darunia was. Entering the room, Irvine bowed before the leader of the Gorons. "Forgive my intrusion, Lord Darunia, but I bring grave news. Ganondorf has murdered the King of Hyrule, and his forces are ransacking Castle Town. Princess Zelda has been taken to safety, and my comrades are escorting evacuees to Kakariko Village. However, we fear Ganondorf may soon turn his attention to Kakariko, and then your people next. I speak on behalf of the Knights of Hyrule when I request that you send some of your Goron brothers to help defend Kakariko." Upon hearing this news, Darunia frowned and let out a sad sigh. "This is a very sad day, indeed... But I do not wish to disturb the happiness my Brothers are enjoying right now, friend. After they all have had their fill, I shall send some down immediately," he explained with a nod. "Acceptable?" "Thank you, Lord Darunia," Irvine replied with a small nod. "And... I'm sorry. I know you and His Majesty were good friends." "Yes, we were Sworn Brothers, but we cannot live on this grief. We must prepare." The Goron leader nodded and pounded his fist. "The desert dweller's time shall come. And I shall be there when that day comes! Now go. You appear to have had a rough time. Relax for now, and eat." "As wonderful an idea as that is, Lord Darunia, I must politely decline. I'll simply wait until I get back to Kakariko." With that, Irvine bid him goodbye and returned to his horse outside before he began his descent back down to Kakariko.

Daru meeped at the wave of ice daggers coming his way, barely able to avoid them by backflipping out of range. After a moment he regained his breath and took note of a few things. The first was that the slope was now covered in ice, not that he had intended to climb it before anyway, the second was Flit was now at the bottom of the hill, and the third was that the witches were toppled on the ground. This all meant the fairy was free, presumably hiding with the kokiri since she was nowhere in sight, and the witches were too well defended, despite being prone on the ground, to bother with but despite this her boy was making a stand of some sort.

With a sigh Daru ran up behind the kokiri while pondering how to get him out of this mess. It seemed the best way to do so with the seeming incapacitated Flit was through a Shadow Rift. That being the case he hefted the collapsed boy over his shoulder, becoming visible once more as he did, and sunk into their shadows quickly, waving goodbye as he did.

After a few minutes of coughing, hacking, and eye rubbing, the sister witches hovered back up off the ground and shook their heads with huffs. "Who dares attack us!! Show your self! Or selves!!" Koume shouts while shaking her fist in the air. "I think they are gone Kotake, but the wrinkled fist down, we have more important matters at hand anyway." She looks over at Ava. "As for you, you are coming back to the Fortress with us Ava. Right now." She huffs and snaps her fingers opening a portal of dark magic that drags them all in, including Misty. Ava know finds they are back 'home' at the Gerudo Fortress. Koume wanders off grumbling about food as Kotake lowers to the ground and approaches Ava. "Now..what did you wish to know exactly?"

In Kakariko, the guards have managed to get the panicked crowd under control and into housing for the time being. Irvine's superior walks over to him. "Irvine, welcome back. I hope that look on your face is a good news face, did you manage to get us assistance if we need it?"

Meanwhile, Rayas left the town to make his way home to Zora's Domain. "I need to tell someone at home about this...not the king that's for damn sure, tubby won't do anything...ah I know who to talk to. I've been meaning to chat with her anyway." He thinks as he swims swiftly up the river to the entrance of the domain and hops through the waterfall, inside he makes a break for the shrine to the Zora 'god', Lord Jabu-Jabu, and goes to his usual spot by a lone tree in a quiet corner of the shrine where a young zora girl is humming to herself appearing to be in a day dream. "Heh, well hello Ruto, got someone on your mind?" He smirks as he sits beside her. The Zora princess, Ruto, blinks and looks over at him. "O-oh hi Ray! Just um er...no one. How was the trip?" She asks avoiding the question, which makes Ray smirk. "Uh huh...where is your stone? And the trip was good." Ruto nods and gulps flushing lightly. "Gave it away...you notice Lord Jabu-Jabu is better now?" She asks as Ray looks at the whale. "Huh, so he is, anyway. Something happened..." He explains to her the situation in Hyrule Town causing a shocked expression to grow on her face . "R-ray! Go to Kakariko! Make sure those people are ok! And if you see a boy in gree, about my height...keep him safe for me ok?" Rays nods at this and smirks. "Sure sure, I'll protect your boyfriend for ya." He chuckles ahnd leaves the shrine, and the domain, to make his way to Kakariko.

Irvine surveyed the village as people were going into houses before his superior came up and asked if he had good news, and he gave him a quick salute. "Yes, Sir. Lord Darunia has agreed to send some of his people down from Goron City to help defend the village." "Well, that's good to hear. By the way, your parents are safe. You should go check with them before it's time for your shift," the Captain remarked. "Yes, Sir. Thank you, Sir," Irvine stated before going to find his mother and father.

Flit feels the darkness close about him as he sighs in relief as he can see an odd figure he doesn't reconise. Flit clutches his sides as he slowly gets up huffing, " Ah th-thanks." Flit closes his eyes tightly as he shivers in pain from being hit two times and worn out from his shield shattering like a plate under the spell. "Ah... er hmm can i ask why you saved me?" The fairy peers out in the gloom showing her color for a moment under his vest as he seems to be trying to hide the glow unconsciously.
Daru simply glanced at Flit in the darkness as he guided them through it before tilting his head at his fairy and then back at him.
Flit quietly follows for a while before trying to talk to the silent figure of Daru again. "Ah...where are we going..." Flit looks rather unsure if he should be following this kid but having no other choice he does seeing him as the only way out.
Daru looked at her solemnly and spoke on the word "Home" as he turned back, going the quickest route to the lost woods.
Flit lets his shoulders droop as the fairy comes out and bounces happily. around Flit's head with a jiggling noise of happiness. " Ah well haven't been there for a long time."
Smiling faintly the skull child nodded. He turned to face them, floating backwards through the void as he said, "What did they want?"
Flit looks slightly surprised before he looks down at his feet, " I crossed paths with them before. They think im a toy i think." The fairy bonks him over the head as he shields him self from her attack.
"He stole from them and i told him not to."
Daru's "eyes" widened as his face contorted into a grin. "Ooooooh? What did you steal? I stole this book from a magician once~" he said with a smirk as he pulled out a dark tome. "It called to me."
Flit smiles weakly, " I tried to but they caught me it was a pretty staff." flit tilts his head as he looks at the tome and trys to look at it closer even tho he doesnt read at all.
Daru nodded and snickered, slipping the book back from whence it came. "Best to steal when they are away~" he teased with a smirk before pushing Flit through the shadow of the bridge exiting the kokiri village. "Upsy daisy."
Flit squeaks as he is pushed through and he is met with something he hasn't seen in ages, "Yeah, should of but i wanted a challenge."
"Ooo. That would have been fun..." Daru replied with a slight sulk as he hopped out of the shadow rift.

Flit smirks slightly as he feels something in his stomach claw at the walls, unable to show his pain. " Ah well what do you say about heading into the forest and explore."
The fairy bops up and down in frustration as she jingles out. "Ah but we are so close to home. Why don't you want to go back?"
"cause they don't belief me."
"Believe you?" queried Daru as he tilted his head, already a few steps towards the woods.
"I said we can leave but they said i was lieing." Flit follows Daru as he heads out farther into the woods as the pain lessens as he walks deeper in. Thinking nothing of the feeling FLit sets out to explore the forest.

As Daru and Flit get deeper in the forest, they can begin to faintly hear the sound of a song being played from where in the woods. Behind them they can hear some bushes moving about before another Skull Kid wearing what looks like a bone mask, leaps out to playfully tackle Daru and sniff him curiously. "You smell familiar....Daru! That you buddy?" The skull kid asks curiously with a happy tone in it's voice.

Irvine's mother runs up to him and hugs him tightly. "Oh Irvine! You're alright dear! I was so worried about you after the castle came under siege..." From behind her Irvine's father walked up to pat him on the shoulder. "It's good to see that you got out safely. Sense you were in the castle, I must ask...what happened to the princess? And she get out ok?"

"Mistress Impa took the Princess and fled the town. I don't know where they are now, but hopefully it's someplace safe." Irvine's mother nodded in agreement. "I'm glad to hear she's safe. How about you just relax for a bit while I make something to eat?" "Heh, that sounds like the best idea I've heard all day," Irvine replied with a small chuckle. "And I'm happy you guys are okay." Irvine caught up with his parents on all that had transpired today; the events leading up to the attack, his encounter with Ganondorf, the escape to Kakariko, and his audience with Darunia. Irvine quickly ate his dinner, a simple meal consisting of potatoes and meat before he told his parents he'd back in a while, then went back out to begin his patrol.

Daru meeped as he was pounced and snickered as he pushed the skull kid off him. "Who else has no eyes and a fanged mouth?" The skull kid rubs his chin and thinks. "Hmm....I'unno. Who's this? A new friend?" He asks curiously poking Flit with his flute. Flit quietly watches this as he looks down at his feet then back up at them feeling pangs of missing having someone this close. He steps away as he is poked by the flute and squeeks slightly, "Hey stop that I'm not a pokey thing."

"I think his name is Flit. Some hags were messing with him and his fairy," growled Daru with a scowl at the thought of it. "What's your fairy's name anyway?" The skull kid pokes Flit again before stepping back and tilting his has with the flute. "Fairy boy? Kokirir? Where's the fairy! It safe?" Flit grips his vest nervously as he says, " Her name is teal...and yes she is." He shys away from the kid before teal works her way out to hover around Flit's head. Frowning, Daru placed a hand on the Mask's shoulder and tugged him back a bit.

The other skull kid meeped from the tug. "Teal's a good name! So what you guys all doin' here in the forest?" He tilts his head curiously and pokes Daru. Flit looks about and rubs his head, "Gettin' away from the hags." he rubs his chest were the clothing is on the crispy side from magic hitting him. "Um. I didn't know where else to go. The hags were tougher than they looked," he responded with a huff and semi-emberrassed sideways glance.

"Ah see, makes sense methinks." The other skull kid chuckles and starts playing on his flute the same song that Daru and Flit could faintly hear before. Flit listens to the song and smiles at the calming sensation. "That's a nice song." Daru smiled and took out his didgeridoo and paused before playing it. "So where's Saria?" The Skull Kid tilted his head and thought for a moment. "Hmm her secret place deep in the forest I think...oh! Like my new mask?? A forest kid gave it to me!" He cheers and playfully gets in Daru's face. Daru chuckled and playfully shoved the skull kid back. "Yeah, but I don't think it's you."

He pouts before poking Daru and Flit. "Did you two wanna go see Saria? Can I come?" Flit tilts his head, " Saria? special place?" Flit seems hopelessly lost with their talk seeing its been ages since he has come to the forest. "Sure!" yelled Daru gleefully as he started running off for the Forest Temple. The other kid grabs Flit and quickly runs after Daru. "Wait up buddy! This one don't know the way!"

As Flit is dragged along as the webs of his memory is stirred as he tries to recall what he can of his life in the forest. He remembers flickers of green clothed kids like him self with fairies. Thin trickles of myths of what happens to them when they get lost in the woods stirs in the murky depths of what he has found to be useless while out in the city of Hyule Castle. Which when thinking on it he cant blame him self forgetting most of the information since it was mostly useless in the city. The Myths made no actual scence to him after a while of being out of there other then they needed something to keep them alive out side the forest. Over time he adopted what the hyrulians thought and that became his way of life unless unless he went out of the urban setting. Sure he survived at times for scrounging but that was a mix of skills he picked up. Now thinking on it he realized its been years since he thought of this place at all. His shoulders slump as he works his feet in following the Skull kid. He grimaces slightly as he feels a slimy feeling working through his guts before it fades to a strange scence of glee. A rather creepy glee that feels like its from the pit of his stomach that is strangely detached from his current state of confusion and reminiscing of his past.

In the graveyard behind Kakariko, when Irvine walks by the entrance on his patrol he can see a pair of guards having an argument with a child. "Sorry kid...but the sun is going down and you need to go home, your mother must be worried sick about you." One guard says to him as the other points at the kid's mask. "And take off the mask! You're gonna give someone a heart attack with it!" The kid waves a stick at them both and shouts. "No! I don't leave till Dampe wakes up! Him and mom know it! So YOU guys leave! Or I'm tellin Dampe!" The second guard shakes his head then turns to focus on a rusty looking suit of armor at a grave near the back. "Hey...what's with that back there?" He asks curiously as he walks pass the kid and towards the armor and grave. "Hey! You're not allowed to go near that! The Baron will get ya!" The boy shouts at the guard and chases after him, the other guard sighs and follows them both.

"Oi just leave it be and lets get out of here. He'll be heading home soon anyway." The younger of the two guards at the grave examines the armor. "This the old Hyrule knight armor? It's not bad. I say we take it, get it shined up and someone use it." The older guard shakes his head. "No, we don't disrespect the dead...though the armor does look better than what we have.." The younger one cheers. "That settles it then! We take it." He nods and reaches for the helmet only for the heavily armored right hand to grab his arm. "You should have listened to the kid. Hyrule knights or not, I dont give a damn, but NO ONE takes the Baron's armor!' The eye sockets in the helmet glow red and the hand squeezes the guards wrist who panics. "Gah!! Hey help me out here!" He shouts and the older guard's eyes widen as he runs over to pry his friend free, which he barely manages to do. "Let's get the hell out of here!! Now!" He commands and runs out of the graveyard. The Baron looks at the kid. "You stay here, I currently have no issue with you so you're safe. As for the guards." He snaps his metal fingers and summons a giant axe to him. "They are on my list of people who piss me off." He shouts and growls as he marches to the village.
------------------------------

As the trio get further into the forest, the Masked Skull Kid stops and thinks. "Hey Daru, how did you get here so fast anyway? Because you weren't here earlier, then poof! Yer here! You pick up new tricks while you were gone?"

Irvine was about to walk up a flight of stairs that led to the village's windmill, but heard several loud thunking footsteps behind him. He slowly turned his head to see Baron coming at him, axe in hand. "Dammit, one of Ganondorf's monsters here?!" Torn between standing his ground and calling for help, Irvine slowly ready his sword, holding it in his slightly quaking hands. "I don't know if you can talk, but buddy, we have a hell of a day. Our King gets killed. We have to run for our lives. And there's no telling when or if the enemy will just come through here and kill us all. I-I'm only gonna tell you once. Just go away. I don't want to fight you. We've seen enough violence for one day."
