P'weeze barters with the trades men for a fine pet to help him dig. He attempts to trade it for a small wooden Idol.
He shall name the pet Mole.
After trading he heads to the wagon to pick up the steel pick and places his iron pick on the wagon before continuing his work for a great fortress. On ward to work on barrel shaped room with his pet.

Fall (501) is upon you!

p'Weeze finds the traders eager to make the deal. You now hold a Kobold Baby. Put Mole it in your inventory. It will become a child in Summer (503).

McBOOM sees the Goblin fidget for a moment, then admits that the Dwarf and Goblins died a skirmish. He tells you that the Dwarf died bravely, but seems careful with his words. He fidgets for a moment, then says he will give you the Goblin's gear as well if you let him pass now. He just needs the bodies.
McBOOM can name the grasslands to the East now.

Ironshield stares into the Sun. The Sun if Falling. (Idles 1 Season).

Almar'isjat begins crawling towards Bosk, leaving behind his Obsidian Club.

Siffens moves south and sees a large row of trees marking the edge of the forest. The deeper you peer into the Unhappy Sideways, the darker it seems. A Wolf appears and frolics about in front of you. Its eyes are green, it has a long snout with only one fang.
Skiffens can name the Southern Grassland.

Timmy finishes cutting a Tree, getting Wood. He head back to the hill to build a Still.

Irrum begins planting Radishes.

P'weeze tries to teach mole how to dig as he works on making a side room off to the north of the barrel room for storage.

"Dig my minion dig!"

-McBOOM nodes her head, "Any dwarf worth his beard die bravely!"
- Holding Sir Pounce-alot McBOOM moves closer to look at the bodies and says"What ya be needing dem bodies fer? Aint it the weapons and armor that worth keeping?"

Siffens proclaims the fields to have the name of "Spacious dooom". And to the wolf Siffens prances side to side to see if the wolf dances with them.

Winter (501) is upon you!

Mole holds on to the Pick for dear life, while p'Weeze swings it mightily. Mole vomits.
During your excavation North, your storage room could breach the north side of the hill. You now know that the hill can hold 9 rooms (excluding hallways). You find lots of soil, but no stone outside the center of this hill.
To help, you drew a map (in OOC) of the Fort.
p'Weeze stills has to rename Bosk.

Skiffens watches the Wolf frolic and caper. In a branch high up a tree, a single Elven Sentinel appears and lets out a mighty whistle. The Wolf stops, whimpers, then trots back into the woods. It looks back once before it disappears amidst the trees. The Sentinel also disappears.

Cholke tells McBOOM that the bodies are eaten by the elves, and that the elves pay top dollar for them. He is willing to give you all of the possessions for the bodies, as the bodies will make all of the money back three fold. Cholke is obviously getting impatient, and bats away flies from the bodies. He tells you he will leave the possessions and leave now before the bodies spoil. He piles up the gear and begins to head out. What does McBOOM do?

Ironshield is taken by a strange urge to push the boundaries of culinary science! He runs back to the hill with Vigor and confronts the stockpiles. He starts with a Loaf of Bread and its servant, a Wheel of Cheese!
Ironshield is a Novice Warrior (+1), weilding an Iron Hammer (+1) and wearing Iron Armor (+1). He totals a +3.
The Bread has no weapon (-1), but has a flaky Crust (+1) and is a Novice Farmer (+1). It totals +1.
The Cheese has no weapons (-1) and no armor (-1), but has full flavor (+1). It is a Novice Farmer (+1), for a total of 0.
The Pantry fights back with a total of +1, but it is not enough. First falls the Bread, flattened into a flat pie. For a moment, the Cheese stands Alone. It is then crumpled, with a assortment of spices, atop its fallen comrade.
Ironsheild simmers this creation with Alcohol Induced Rage.
Ironsheild creates 'Wailing Cudgel,' a Pizza Crafted out of Bread and Cheese. All craftdwarfship is of the highest quality. The Pizza is banded with rings of Dough. In the cheese is the Image of Skiffens striking down Four Groundhogs.
The Groundhogs are making plaintive Gestures. Skiffens is Laughing.
You gain this masterwork Item, and note down in your history the development of Pizza.

Timmy begins making the Still.

Irrum watches the Radishes grow.

The Caravan begins to pack. Their leader tell you you will see them again in Summer 503.

P'weeze stops to let mole stop mining for a season before continuing to mine out extra rooms. As he mines out a storage room or a lever room he comes up with a fine name for the bosk. He names it 'Unhealthy Greens'.

Skiffens watches this and with a great frown heads back to pick up a steel ax before heading back to the forest for the hunt.

Spring (502) is upon you! A year has passed. Long live Hammerhat!
p'Weeze, Skiffens, McBOOM, and Irongsheild gain a new skill. Spend wisely.
Timmy learns the skill Broker. He now has the ability to communicate with you.

p'Weeze contemplates a moment, then begins building a lever room. Where is it in the hill? Or do you begin a staircase to dig down?

Skiffens grabs an axe and heads for the border again. Please note it in your inventory.

McBOOM and Ironshield are overcome with the beauty of the 'Wailing Cudgel,' a Masterwork Pizza. Ironshield weeps tears of booze, while McBOOM begins a haunting dirge. They carry the 'Wailing Cudgel' around the fort three times, spinning and dancing.
The Gods are Pleased. (1 Turn of idle)

Mole hangs onto the pick, not sure of why he's upside down.

Timmy finishes the Still. He asks where McBOOM want it. After a moment, he remember the letter he found and runs to find p'Weeze. He needs a meeting. On the way he gets a drink of Beer and Eats some Bread.

Irrum harvests a crop of 10 Radishes. She offer one to Tob. He accepts. Praise Tob! She eats another or the Radishes and puts the rest in the pile.

Cholke watches McBOOM run off, then quickly pulls the cart into the forest. Skiffens can intercept if she wants. Does she? He has left a Pile of Gear in Grasslands East of HammerHat. McBOOM still needs to name it.

The Forest ahead is ancient. Visible at the border are waystone, covered in swirling patterns. The trees' roots forms a ropey layer beneath the moss creepers and boulders seems to have been heaved by the trees. Despite the size of these trees, they seem light and young. Many have smooth bark that is warm to the touch.
Unhappy sideways has been confirmed to be an elf haunt. There is no doubt now. In the distance, singing can be heard and the squeak of Cholke's wagon ambling along is also present, but a pressing quiet smothers the woods.

The Groundhogs die. They can now be prepared for meat.

The Caravan leaves. As they do, the Human tower to the west again waves its flags in some sort of signal.

Skiffens charges into the forest proclaiming their love of murdering woodland creatures

P'weeze's lever room is to the south of the barrel room. P'weeze upon looking at the room nods before heading out side to strike the earth making trenches around the home. For the great gully dwarf!

Summer (502) is upon you!
Please choose your new skill or skill advancement and note them in your characters. Also, your kills and accomplishments are needed on the sheets as well. The paperwork is starting to lag a bit and these bits are important.

McBOOM needs to name the Grasslands to the East. She heads East to see her Wooden Still and the Pile of Loot sitting in the field. The Loot has the following:

-A Bag of Bugs (Still alive)
-A Mastercraft Obsidian Amulet. It shows a Dwarf. The Dwarf is burning. The Dwarf is Laughing.

-An Iron Sword
McBOOM can see Skiffens disappear into the Unhappy Sideways.
The Still needs to be set up to be usable.

Ironshield grabs some food and drink and watches the 'game' over the river. He sees a group of three humans near the base of the tower. They go through weapons drills, practicing on each other with training spears. Ironsheild is most definitely Drunk (-1).
One of the humans on the tower points out Ironsheild, and calls to the training men.
They gather up their equipment quickly then return to the tower.
A Bowman now stands atop the tower.

p'Weeze finishes the room, with all the place ready for levers. He begins making a trench around the hill. Will it go to the river to form a moat?
It will take a season a direction for the trench, and you will need some way over or under the trench.
Gully Dwarf wisdom dictates that East is the best direction.
Timmy comes up waiving his arms and pointing at a scrap of paper. The sheet is torn in half and stained, but legiable is a Declaration of War! Seems the Human Kingdom the Shapeless Pointing and the lost Dwarven colony out East had been fighting until recently, when the colony lost contact. The reasons why the war started are torn off, sadly, but Timmy says he thinks it's still in the Human Town. When asked how he found the paper, Timmy states he swiped it so he could write down some of his songs.
A few are already scribbled on the back in charcoal. They aren't very good.

Irrum and Tob begin loading the loot from the Unnamed Field and move it to the stockpile.

Inside the forest, Skiffens spys an elf with green eyes ahead. He shakes his head and says that it is not a good idea to run around threatening animals. He wears a simple Leather Buff Jacket and cloth Pants. He laughs, saying if you hated animals so much, the wolf would have surely killed you. He then formally bows and greets you to the Elven Retreat of Ilnorril, the Lonely Tree. He says his name is Longstride. The retreat proper is further in if you with to follow.
Cholke sneaks by while Skiffens is distracting the sentries. After skirting around Longstride, he breaks into a run, cart bouncing behind him.

Thieves! Some of the stockpile has been stolen from Unhealthy Greens! Curse them.

Pweeze mumbles to him self the need for more mining and yells at mole to help. It shall be a moat with an empty trench about it so one must get over two holes and risk the fearsome water dwellers of the moat.

Do to the sniffles, Ironshield, McBOOM, and Skiffins all idle, moaning and sniffing. The elves back off, and the humans don plague masks. Nothing like a dwarven flu!

Also, nobody has become more skilled. Irrum gets worried, as Tob said this may happen. She mutters and spits to ward off evil spirits. (Idle 1)

Timmy presses on, and tries a hand at building the still. Unfortunately, it will take a while and he is building it on the patio.

p'Weeze strikes the earth with roughness! Mole gets to eat a nutritious dirt breakfast! You are 1/3 the way to making a moat, as the river forms the 4th side. Remember, you may want a crossing unless you like swimming a lot.

More is being stolen from the Unhealthy Greens! Curse them!

P'weeze continues the moat of 'inflangable swimming' with the faint thought of levers on his mind for cutting off water.

Winter (502) is upon you!
McBOOM and Ironsheild seem pretty badly hit by the dwarven flu. They idle again (two Idles). Ironsheild is starting to mutter about turtles and mushrooms, while McBOOM is focusing on the subject of cloth made weapons.

The Chroniclar must ask Zincks "Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?"
Skiffens goes deeper into the woods. It's filled with trees. Above, the sense you are being watched is confirmed as two elves peer over branches and keep pace with you. You have a clearing to the south of you, and a mound to the east.

More Moat is done, so thats good. Mole christens it again in a coating of vomit. p'Weeze has one more season before your fortress is cut off by the moat. How about a bridge?

Having a stroke of brilliance to fix his puzzlement P'weeze clambers out of the moat with Mole in hand to mine some wood logs for a bridge. Mine the wood, build bridge!

Skiffens heads east to the mound. The horrible distrust of open places driving the ranger that way.
