Infinity Patrol

"Hullo, ser, lady." Finkley extends his hand to shake. "Finkley, this is Kevin. Headed our way, eh? Sure you can come along. You will need a line to tie between ya" Finkley hand them some line "An a pair of sticks to keep balance and probe the waters." Finkley cut two long saplings, quickly strips them, and they are on the trail again soon. As they slosh, Finkley makes minor banter.
"Just always keeps one eye on your feet, need to be careful. Also, if we find some dry ground, we were thinking about camping. Righto?"

Max and Sian
The raptor snaps maybe once up at them before it whip's it's head about at the human and the dwarf. The 'Oh shit' face of the two trying to stealth away and being discovered. The raptor creature springs for them as they both roll away and bolt as they move to get away from the dino.
The pair up the tree now are left alone up the tree and other then what chased them up the tree.

Finkely and Kevin
The girl smiles and shakes Finkly's hand, "My name is Stella and this here is Chris." Chris waves slightly as he smiles weakly. "I guess we will get to our goals together then." She starts to pull out rope and they both start tieing it around their waists and accept the sticks before Chris says meekly, "I saw some dry ground up over a steep river bank im guessing about that general direction. " He points Northwest a bit, "What was when we were coming down. I don't know how far it was but it was maybe 3 miles where we landed." He sounds a bit helpful as he stutters about. His companion gently pats him as she tries to calm him down. "Its probably in close range no-"
There is a crashing noise as something animal like starts charging out of the forest at them. As it breaks the foliage it reveals it's self as a large machine.

Jack, Roslin, Adonis
"Hey guys....I think we should move... you know wild animals and stuff." Jack ventures as he looks between them before he starts to move as his instance to survive kicks in from spending years running.

Lina and Nicoli
"Uh Nicoli do you think that is a smart idea? I know I can probably isolate one but that is going to be wasting a lot of time....we are probably better off walking. Cause I don't want to have to break the animal..." Lina watches Nicoli before sighing as she looks for one farther off from the pack and looks for something she saw the things eating and gets a large bushel of it and waves it slightly in front if it. Lina moves slowly as she looks very unsure of what she is doing. It slowly follows her away as it munches on the reeds. "Please tell me you got some kind of animal charming or calming spell."

(Capt, nem have fun. I aint ready to do much with you right now.)

Finkley stops. He seems to be foaming.
"Angel"
Doubtless his partymembers are confused, they standing there with blank faces, but Finkley knows that form. That is... that is an angel.
Finkley cuts the rope holding him to Kevin, then turns around. His eyes have gone big, but the pupils are tiny points of black.
"Run."
Kevin and the others weigh this while Finkley turns back to the angel. He pulls out the mop, and squares off against the thing. He can buy the group time to flee, as they have no other way to fight this thing.
Finkley lunges forward, impromptu staff held high.
"For England! For the Queeeeen!"

The machine continues to charge forward as a shot rings out from the bushes (weather this hits or not is up to hb and capt.). The machine shift's its direction to attack Stella not slowing down at all. Chris grabs Kevin and jerks him away from the fight and they book it in a general western direction.

Max and Sian
The dwarf pulls a hatches off their leg and slides to the side of the bucking raptor and swings the small Axe down hard, partially severing one of the raptors legs. the human readies the wooden spear they fashioned and Peppers the other side of the raptor with quick jabs which make small holes in the dino's other leg as it twists about to try to get away. Its heavily wounded leg buckles under Sian's and it's own weight as it crashes to the ground.

Finkely and Stella
Stella is trampled by the 'Angel which circles around her and heads back where it came from no longer interested in the wounded members. It seems to no longer care about them as it hurries off. Kevin and Chris are hidden in th tree line and hurry back once they thing leaves.
Chris Sees what he can do as he shreds his shirt to help his compainion as he gets splints and starts twisting broken boned back into place, periodically snapping them back into place quickly. The Woman is wide away and her yes are wide in pain but she seems to of gone into a shock.
"What the hell was that?" Kevin says as he tends to finkly as best as he can he help the woman out.

Jack, Roslin, Adonis
Jack looks over his shoulder, "Were do you think I'm heading." He points in the direction of west, "Seems like the best idea but we should get shelter soon...Not keen on having two people who need to rest stumble about in a jungle."

Lina and Nicoli
Lina loops the rope about it's head and slowly tightens the harness on it as she gets on top of it. She settles her self on it and holds onto the harrest tightly, "Ok I got it." Once he breaks the spell it remains calm unaware of the extra weight at the moment. Lina shifts slightly before offering her had to Nicoli. "I think your spells are better then you think."

Sian feels as the raptors leg starts buckling and jumps away, rolling as she hits the ground. Sian grits her teeth and hops up and runs back at the raptor, hitting its head up and away, using all her body weight behind her left shoulder as her right hand pulls her hunting knife free. With a swift motion of her arm she bring the knife down across the throat of the raptor cutting out any of its screams.
Sian jumps away from the raptor as it gose into its death rolls as its life blood spills from its throat. Sian looks at her self as she tries to find some part of her clothes that are clean but finds blood and mud on most of her outfit.
"Oh well." she says as she walks up and starts gutting and skinning the raptor.
"Any one hungry?" she ask as she looks at the others.
"Thanks fer the help. by the by." she says and offers the two new comers a crooked grin.

Finkley gives chase, but it is soon out of range. He comes back to see the two standing members return, and sets about doing as much medicine as he can for the woman.
Finkley refuses aid until the woman is patched up, then cuts down some sapling to make a bier.
The team will now have one scout, who will find the best paths, and two beares, who will keep the poor soul above the water. They will switch off every few hours, but they are now on a forced march to the sea. They will only rest midday, and go without food. Water should not be a problem, so long as it is strained through cloth, but they will likely be ill after they reach the beach.
He is silent most of the way, but does answer Kevin's query with "An angel. God help us, our only hope is to get out of here, cause once an angel hits earth, the whole damn thing shakes to pieces."

The sun is starting to set.
Max and Sian
They grin back, "Ah no problem but well you might want to put your mutt down since he aint moving. " The human and dwarf shift uneasily when hey hear the SCREAMING. "That don't sound good...." They keep their weapons out rather then putting them in their make shift holders. "Well That sounded a ways off. But yeah We can help." They quickly help Sian package the raptor up as they switch off with guard and helping. They get ready to move out and travel with an hour of walking.

Finkely and Trio (Kevin, Stella, Chris)
The whole party is fairly quiet. Chris points out a good area to rest for the night. As the group sets up a camp nothing happens other then a few small creatures checking them out.

Jack, Roslin, Adonis
Jack shivers slightly as he looks about uneasily as they pass through a clearing. He squints a bit as a puzzled look crosses his face before his eyes widen slightly. He says softly, "Can you two see any thing over there?" He points in a direction north east a bit. "Or am I just seeing things."
If people manage to see something can make out an very square thing but its hard to see since it blends in to the foliage. There seems to be someone with it.

Lina and Nicoli
They continue to travel on the back of what ever they are riding. Lina tightens her hold on the reins as the spell starts to fade and it gets more jumpy. "I think we might want to get off the thing soon to set up camp..."

Jack, Roslin, Adonis
Jack was about to push them to go farther away from the boxy thing when Shot's ring out. Two of them hit their mark ant the third misses. Adonis feels pain cut through his leg as a bullet pierces it, causing his leg to go weak under him. A second shot rings out missing their target but the third catches Roslin's calf in liquid pain. All the shots that hit are not immediately lethal. Jack's eyes go wide as he seems to run on full alert and just books it as it seems a natural instinct over takes him. He clambers over and under things to slide away quickly. He temporarily forgets about his companions.

Lina and Nicoli
Lina slowly slides off the beast clearly leery of the thing. she slowly makes her way over to him and starts opening up a can or two of their supplies so she can warm them over the flame. "Looks like we have been lucky....So far." They seem to be left alone from all the animals so far that normally would eat them in this marsh. She rubs her hands before trying to warm her self as the temperature drops. She seems to be getting more sluggish the more time passes and the air cools off.

Haiba and nova
When they stop doing things.I will come up with something.

Sian
Max climbs down shaking as he looks slightly ill. "Sorry Sian....I didn't find any thing I could use to attack with..."
"Oh hey look the mutt is down-" They stop as a signal gets through the comms they have and every one hears jack's voice.
*Szzzzztt*"This is Jack my team has gone down by centrum forces. Someone please get this!" They are only wounded, please find them. One is a jumper. And I can't help with the suit chasing me. The number of agents is an unknown." *Szzzzztt*

Jack, Roslin, Adonis
Jack goes running off and the box thing lunges forward for Jack who snarls something about not going back as he continues running. What ever is in there did call him by his name. Jack turns on his radio as he tries to contact any other teams, "This is Jack my team has gone down by centrum forces. Someone please get this!" They are only wounded, please find them. Lina and Nicoli

Lina sits up as her eyes widen as she sits up straight. "Nicoli?....Maybe we should keep moving ...can you give your self or others night vision?...I am sorry about asking you to do so much since your probably tired at this point...but if there is any thing I can do to help..." Lina looks quite nervous with the transmission from Jack since he did sound angry but frightened.

Haiba hout of the room and rolls his shoulders as he carries the soft glow of happiness about him. After a few hours. He heads out to the beach to swim for a good long swim. He takes the time just to stretch out his muscles as the blissful burn goes through his muscles from limited movement. The only thing he has been unable to remove has been the cuffs that are supposedly dampening his affects. Other then swimming, Haiba is taking it slow for himself. The lack of danger was nice but he was an active man he would only sit still for so long.

The man that came out to retrieve the shots keeps his gun leveled at them before backing away as he says into his radio with a thick Australian accent "Right.... I will be right over." He leaves them to peruse the machine that came out of the forest and holsters his gun.
